I wrote a reply post on Monday, but when I tried to post it, I got an “equipment failure” response, and I lost the content. I'll rewrite a reply in a WP file this time, and cut-&-paste it.

The K99 specifications I found at https://www.taiwantrade.com/products/detail) did not work when I tried it today. I only copied the particle-size distribution (PSD) earlier, because the issue WAK has with K99F is restricted to its PSD and top cut points. The chemistry for K99C and K99F that I saw was common, and not a problem for K99F. There was a small difference in the degree of whiteness circa 80 – also not a problem.

Current boilerplate information (“typical”, not “categorical” that WAK sent me is substantially devoid of detail on PDS. The information provided is the following:

The PSD for K99F in my previous post at least gives the gist of what WAK said a K99F product could be. Relative to product offered by Imerys, that old PSD information does not compare favourably – hence the need for an air classifier that can be set to meet tighter PSD specifications, especially top points. WAK uses equipment from RSG, but I did not find indicative information on > 45 μm cut points at its website (https://www.airclassify.com/). Other websites are more informative in respect to > 45 μm particle sizes.

With luck, WAK may announce useful information in early 2024. All that I rely on is that Stanco is fully aware of the issues, and it was prepared to invest $7.7m at 17 cents a share, so that is where I hope to see the SP in 2024. The current SP is 9c, so Mr Market is more bearish than I am.
