With QLD Labor decimated in the 2012 election, Labor were left with 7 seats from their previous 51.

Annastacia was one of only 3 cabinet members left.

Two people originally put their hand up of which Curtis Pitt withdrew.

As the leader of the opposition, and with the swing away from the incumbent government, I believe that Queensland are left with the 'Accidental Leader' of which the swing towards Labor and possible win - will have nothing to do with the ability of this particular leader.

    Interesting stuff.

Her background is nothing to write home about.  Daughter of a Politician, she was a policy advisor to Labor members - decided to start studying to be a Solicitor when her father retired - she then put her hand up for his seat in the lower socio economic seat of Inala.
