Good article in today's AFR "Santos wants back in PNG pipeleine". Says that at the MPI conference yesterday it was standfing room only and there's a real buzz about exploration and development in PNG at present. Santos are talking to OSH about re-enterinmg the project. The article outlines the pipeline "add-ons" being considered - eg the di-methylether plant for export to Japan and CNG for NZ via Gladstone.
There has certainly been resistance this time to OSH heading back into the $1.60s - so perhaps some big things to be announced soon. Let's hope so - its been a long wait.
