I always remember one of my trading mentors (these days I am an investor and I might add invested in what I think is the best investment of the decade) telling me how to deal with a broker. What you do is cut off the ear peace of the phone with a hacksaw because you don't want hear what the have to say, and only speak into the microphone as you have done plenty of research as to your decision to buy or sell.
