The Phil 2:7's desperate quote that many draw upon, has zero to do with a pre-existing Jesus, it is covering the man Jesus in the here and now of the times. No hint whatsoever in the verse, that it's referencing pre-existing. Ask yourself a simple question Mr G, WHY do we Never see words from Jesus, pre the cross -> I go BACK to the Father?????????? He would most definitely have said so. Because he was never there, other than a plan to be.

Jesus himself spoke of his prehuman heavenly life. (Joh 3:13; 6:38, 62; 8:23, 42, 58). This is confirmed by other texts identifying Jesus as “the firstborn of all creation,” “the beginning of the creation by God.” (Col 1:15; Re 1:1; 3:14)
