26th January is such a wrong date to use in any case. It represents the founding of a penal colony in NSW only. Forget the other states that form this nation. Dont give me that crap about our soldiers fought and died for this....Australia day during WW1 was 30th June and 26th Jan didnt become widely celebrated until 1946. The true date that we should celebrate the founding of Australia is 1st January when we white, black, brown and yellow joined together as a nation.
