We have been lucky in Australia - lucky to be at the other end of the world and lucky to be self-contained and surrounded by sea.
I can foresee a time in a generation or so, when Europe is totally stuffed and there is not much going for too many other countries/continents, when we will be eyed and finally taken in a similar way, or perhaps even attacked by our northern friends neighbours.
