JFC, do you know the standards of evidence and trial law better than Walter Sofronoff? We are talking about following a legal process, not what the tingling of your spidey senses tells you. Sofronoff was highly critical of the prosecution in the Lehrmann trial, but he was very clear that there was enough evidence to commit Lehrmann to trial and that, at least was done correctly, among a litany of other incompetent or wilfully illegal acts that probably would have amounted to mistrial regardless of juror conduct or guilt determination. This whole affair has been a complete s***show, but if you think that somebody making an accusation of rape needs to have video evidence of the act for it to go to trial, you just don't know the law.
