They definitely didn't get paid completely by POC1 and I know that for sure. However, I do agree any funds received for a R&D company are always welcome!!
I don't disagree that it does sound like things are heading in the right direction. I think Matt has played a big part in that but that is speculation on my part and nothing more and I base it on conversations we had at SH meetings prior to him joining the board.
in saying all that, the devil is in the detail and no one but the company knows whether the deal they have signed will actually be fruitful. It may be (for example) that they took the approach of taking a haircut on revenue just to sign a deal which validated the technology. Again, I have no idea whether that's the case or not!
