A very experienced GP said to me that as a whole they are for the elderly .... it was a balancing act between quantity and quality of Life .... as all medical decision are.
The effectiveness of anti inflamatories can be amazing ... almost magic .... just be aware of the downside.
Lets hope your partner is okay .... I experienced the TIA in June 2010 .... Doc told me to take daily asprin for ever .... I don't now, and have no side effects from TIA.
