Hi all,
Just in case you thought another poster had a point....
It was actually the opposite which was true. As the short position dropped (blue line) the share price (grey line) rapidly rose. So the shorts clearly had an impact that was relevant to the share price.
If the shorts unwound on PLS maybe the same would happen to PLS share price.
