I've thought about that a bit, i think in a normal conversation with the facts of safety and potential reduction of permanent damage all presented it would be maybe a 80/20 chance of adoption. The difference though is with what has to happen it isnt a normal conversation, theres a huge amount of emotions and fear involved with patient and the family so i hazard a guess at the amount of candidates that say yes ? The thing in our favour, although not a pretty thought, is theres plenty of stroke victims so i would think it would all happen reasonably quickly
