Yawn , this is getting tiring . Talk about lack of comprehension .

" For the yield to go up, either house prices don't rise and rents do (highly unlikely), or, as has happened so far, prices have gone up, and the rental yield on the underlying value stays the same. "

The purchase price vs the rent . What happens to the yield as the rents rise ? Not to mention a bit of value adding along the way .

As for the anonymity , I'm not the one throwing insults and misnomers around where I can't be accountable . Here's a few examples of yours :

' Property speculators are the biggest parasites in our economy '

' Only the f-wits in the media who like to pump the market '

' it damages the property flipping spivs, and sends real estate agents out of business '

' these donkeys who borrow to buy into their SMSF '

' and their intellectually limited friends '

' media cycle is full of morons '

    ' your prima donna behaviour ' .

As far as disproving things you have said , I think I have actually . And that's thanks to my experience in investment property ( or is that very long term property speculation ? ) . Seeing as you have no experience in this area , other than being a very grumpy , young , low income tenant , I'm not suprised that you don't understand it .
