I stand by what I said, ANZ does not have the same brand name recognition as its global peers, it is not the global Apple iPhone, Nike or Porsche of banking.
They have to focus on investment and international banking, possibly riding on the coat tails of Australian businesses operating in India. Retail and SMB banking will be a hard slog.
