How did they survive that railway? huge tropical ulcers, maleria, diaerrea, amputations performed without anethetics !! brutality, malnutrition. one man dying for every sleeper that was laid on the track – 'Death Railway'.
The POW's sabotaged hell of the work they did so it failed which had the Jap enginners scratching their heads as to why, the POWs took pleasure in rebuilding and delaying the project.
