I've been out of ATC for a while (only recently bought back in) so please excuse me if this has been covered.
URL link - So strong even a Gorilla can't break it
The last sentence from the above recent article took me by surprise, being; "Interestingly, after Apple’s failed synthetic Sapphire glass venture, it reverted to using Corning Gorilla Glass (unknown version) on its iPhones, but it forbids Corning from mentioning this!"
Can anyone shed some light on why the venture failed?
Obviously Apple desire getting their hands on synthetic sapphire glass. Logically this could mean ATC could end up having Apple as a client, or even being a take over target.
Any thoughts?
