canegrass magnetite exploration target

Following some research on the Canegrass target, some of the comments on the Maximus thread seem to treat the Canegrass Magnetic Zone (CMZ) as a development project when it is an exploration target.

If anyone is uncertain about the MXR announcement they can confirm with the asx, like most companies would be expected to do, that they checked with the ASX on the JORC compliance of the contents before it was released.
The question that contains a high interest for me is the "if" factor I often refer to and in this case, how many billions of tonnes of magnetite bearing gabbro are in the CMZ. The area of 20 by 5 km has abundant exposures of massive magnetite and magnetite rich gabbro ( refer to the announcement and the Boardroom radio interview). The question is whether grades are high enough to establish an Inferred Resource. We will find this out by a logical exploration program which the company is required to keep the market informed about.

The recognition of the CMZ target was a material issue for MXR and the ASX (through continuous disclosure), insist that such information is released. With WA’s mid west developments and the presence of Windimurra Vanadium mining a very similar zone nearby the situation should be taken very seriously.

Many shareholders in other companies are critical of their directors for not making regular announcements to the market in the form of exploration updates.
I for one, am very appreciative of the regular communications from Maximus. I congratulate Kevin Wills and the board of Maximus for doing so.

Maximus is commencing its new drilling program on an exciting target and telling the world about it.

Do any or most of the negative posters make enquiries with the company or the asx before commenting?

Continuous disclosure is a fundamental requirement for Australian public companies. Enquires should be made to the company and/or the asx for confirmation of the compliance issues associated with company announcements. I am pretty happy with my enquiries as a shareholder.
