Hi Eagle,
Sy, people who clearly have legitimate use of firearms have
access so why would you want open slather?
I don't want open slather, there is enough checks now to own a rifle.
A pistol I believe is a lot more and where you can use / transport them.
Population explosion is increasing incidents.
As my deceased father said, "You went to the hardware store to buy ammo to shoot Roos and dingoes, to purchased dynamite to blow out tree stumps."
Guns haven't changed. people have.
I knew a gun a guy who had a brilliant gun collection on his wall. They had to go because of people's behaviour. hence change of Laws.
Howard's buy back was taxpayer's rip off. Guys were handing in their old rusty antiquated rifles and buying new ones with the money.
Laws just affect the honest people, not the criminals, so how do you expect things to change?
As population expands so will gun incidents, car accidents, D.V. and etc.
We are just discussing here for entertainment.
cheers,
syp
