I head back to stress - economics

same reason often why women stay - nowhere to go

so she stays, he stays - she nags, they argue, he wants quiet, she keeps at him, he becomes violent

there was a case only a few months back - the guy said ‘all I wanted was for her to be quiet’

Would either of them have left if they had somewhere to go and money to live?

I’d say many would.

and nagged until Dad lost his mind, she wouldn’t
shut up so he shut her up.
I’m just surprised he didn’t shut her up
permanently.
