    I agree about looking deeply into causation. we can go back thousands of years to develop the behaviour and attitudinal patterns of what has made women seem to be the adversary in relationships.

    cappie I get that your description of your parents problems has given a paternal victim of maternal strife. so can see what you're aiming at. the vindication of men in the face a female aggression,. and yes it certainly exists. I've seen it first hand too.

    but this is not the core problem in our Aus society or in Aus homes.

    righties are currently adopting the castigation of "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)". ...... but in the greater social context DEI in business and politics is essential and its the same in relationships. we can argue chicken or egg in terms of causation, but really its meaningless unless one is open to the data and the broader question of how better to address domestic violence.
