BHP comments today were the sole reason apparently for our market being down today. BHP said that China growth had flattend. BHP in the past has been ruthless when it comes to this sort of comment, they will threaten the economy to maintain their profits, I think these comments were more about the passing of the Carbon tax in parliment than anything else. I agree with taking more money of the miners.
Just my opinion on why the market was down today.
