The answer to your question is very simple: Gina would buy now cause she CAN, legally. No capital raise has been offered or suggested (out of your head). So she CANNOT get discounted shares as you propose.
Whether she is doing or not what she CAN, we will know in a few days. News about an hypothetical CR won't come for months.
