Yes, interesting subject.
Do you feel the provisos and special conditions under which that behaviour is considered acceptable are valid ?

Would you say they are more acceptable than the actions of the RC hierarchy or the JW elders etc in puting protection of their beliefs and church reputation ahead of the protection of children and laws of the land ?

Or the behaviour of politicians or business people or the legal profession, all of whom lie and cheat when it suits them. Not to mention a large proportion of the general population.

Since you seem interested you could start a new thread on "does the means justify the end" or is there such a thing as acceptable lying.

10 wrongs don't make a right, as you wish to do, to make excuses for the world's most evil entity, islam, IMO.
