Don't forget cfd providers use bodgy / dodgy time closes and opens and have a habit of altering the price during the day to closer reflect cash markets ? plus operate as a market maker or spread better when many markets are closed .
[Please note , I am not anti cfd providers but some of their rules and games just plain suck ]
When I use a cfd ,which I haven't now in a month or so ,I always base my pricing off a futures contract and chart , whether European stuff or Aussie .But I use my indicators on cfd futures so I don't clutter up pricing .
Think we went through this some time back with another IG acct holder .

Yeh the CFD providers are ok so long as I don't try to scalp and make small gains. They know where your stops are and will run them if they can, to their advantage and the trader's disadvantage. They are unscrupulous. Good idea to use the SPI data if you have it - I don't. IG have cfds only.
