Pine Gap is in the middle of the desert and compact so would only need conventional ballistic weapons to take it out.
Australia does not need nuclear weapons YET but all bans should be lifted, just in case.
China only has a modest nuclear arsenal and in a war would have none to spare for piddlin' little Australia.
