All4one, housing in Australia & particularly in Perth & Sydney had a massive collapse in the 1980s. It certainly could happen again especially at the current preposterous values. The only thing that has kept Aussie house prices up & further up is substantial population growth & as you say foreign money. But nothing keeps going up in a straight line forever.
