Thought these comments from Mobile County Commissioner President Jerry Carl were interesting :
“Well, I don’t want to over-react,” added Mobile County Commissioner President Jerry Carl.
In fact, Carl says this could be good news, if a decision is made to go with just one LCS supplier, Austal could actually add work.
“From everything I read, Austal builds a superior ship,” said Carl. “So if they go by that, we would become the one provider.”
