The CSIRO has been the target of successive funding cuts under the Morrison government, starting with cuts targeting climate science research initiated by Tony Abbott.
So by your logic, the CSIRO should have shut up about climate science, since every time over the last decade when they provided hard evidence the libs were wrong, the libs would cut funding.
Instead they held onto their integrity and kept presenting their scientific findings accurately, despite what the government of the day tried to force them to do.
You wish you had that kind of reputation and integrity.
