As I remember it was LNP who has governed for 8 of the last 10 years, and was responsible for the brilliant Poles and Wires leasing.
It is this outdated and obsolete infrustructure that results in most of the blackouts you mention. The sluggish and obstinate stance on energy transition policy by the LNP over the years has ultimatley led to the shortfalls we face today, just like much of the shortfalls we face in all sectors. Consequences are felt years if not decades ahead, not the day after.
