ummmm... when has an aggresser ever stepped foot on Australian soil??? the closest the Japs got in WW2 was a couple bombs up in darwin, and a torpedo in sydney harbor. They never landed troops on our soil for us to have to fight off.
Yeah, thats what the Yanks thought at the beginning of WW2 as well, till they realised if you let a group win and get too large, they are harder to fight down the track when they get to your door step.
