this vote was taken because the UNGA cannot provide full statehood, only the Security Council can do this and the US vetoed the vote to gift Palestine statehood.
the UNGA vote is like a pat on the back placebo to say to Palestinians that "the majority of countries sympathise with the plight of Palestinian people".
all thats needed now's for Israel to pi55 off the US to the extent they no longer use their veto to block Palestine from becoming a full-blown nation in their own right. Biden needs to wake up and realise Israel will only use US support for war, not for peaceful ends.
