The horse was reluctant to go into the details of longtom commercialisation costs so no news there...
although I found this in a recent report...
"The longtom field could be commercialised quickly as the field is in shallow water relatively close to the shore line, existing gas gathering infrastructure at the Patricia-Baleen project, and to the Eastern Gas Pipeline which supplies the Sydney market. The natural buyer for the gas is Australian Gas Light, which needs alternatives to the depleting Cooper Basin gas fields. Project development cost, assuming that a sub-sea production unit is used, is estimated at between $160 million and $180 million."
