A severe cold snap has brought record-breaking temperatures to Queensland overnight.
Kingaroy fell 7C below average, with a minimum of -1C this morning.
Many communities around central Queensland woke up to temperatures between 4C and 8C below average this morning with frost in Roma and Charleville.

Blackwater had its coldest June night in four years with temperatures plummeting to 3.2C.
Brisbane narrowly missed out on the coldest day of the year with temperatures dropping to 11C early this morning.
Clear skies, dry air and light winds are all contributing to icy weather with the remainder of the week forecast to bring similar conditions to much of the state.
On Thursday the minimum temperature is expected to drop to just six degrees.
