Your calcs should lead to one obvious conclusion; Blackrock would be very keen to see PB started.

During my last conversation with the CEO I raised the issue of Centro v PB with him. I phrased the query in such a way as to give him wriggle room to acknowledge the seeming new priority of Centro over PB. His response was adamant that as soon as licensing for PB was through, that expected for mid year 2019, they would be starting on construction of PB. They have already placed deposits on some of the plant components! Mid 2019 is now only 18 months away.

He went on to explain that Centro was seen as an opportunity to utilise the AVB skill set and the AVB labour team that was ready to build a new plant, while waiting for PB to be ready in another 18 months. He also emphasised that Centro would be pushed through fast to ensure the team was ready for PB.

People should also note that Centrogold has its own management team. From operations manager to head Geo. Wayne Phillips, ex-technical director for Kinross knows the ground well, the ore bodies and the production techniques involved and will be running the show.

Now that AVB have made their $4 million payment he will be operating at full speed.
