I wonder if he's aiming to achieve a 10% strategic blocking stake to thwart any cheap early hostile take over attempts.
If we can hang out until at least DSO operations get started, this would prove we are not desperate, and could if necessary go it alone. This would also strengthen our leverage in the event of a bidding war.
Even our possible big sedimentary layer could easily be funded by a successful DSO operation, and who knows there could be multiple stacked layers. Getting in early could be a smart strategic move on Willems part.
