I closed my positions out and leaving the shares uncovered for the time being till I see them get into over bought territory on the charts, then will resell the calls (for higher premium as SP rises) and also go post ex dividend date for expiry month so I clip the divvy on the way.
Sideways movement works great for that provided your entry price is in the range.
