Very sensible post.

Yes, good investors should never put anything in a sinking ship.

But I don't think of myself as a good investor, so maybe I have liberty to make those mistakes.

Regarding buying oppies at 3/4? I already did once. Heaps of it at 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 etc. Sold all around 1.1 average, also sold all my heads at 5 which I was buying from 1.6 upwards. So made some good coins there. All my buys and sells are documented with price etc so you can troll thru.

This is Round 2 for me. The way the stock market is heading, most of the things look like sinking ship. Li stocks more so. All the good investors who bought SYA/CXO near the top are down 90% of their money. Smart investors playing AGY/GL1/WR1 etc are down 75 to 80% of their money from top. These people at one time were the cream of good investors. So I was thinking may be its time to be a bad investor.

Anyway, specifically to your point, my buys of oppies is 0.75c average now. Currently oppies are at 0.6c. May touch 0.5c, has already touched once in this drop. But one good Li sector day may push it to 0.7c. A few good Li days, easy 0.8c or even 0.9c. If it reaches 0.8c, I am in the money. Semi-boom Li sector, it could even reach 5 to 10c, who knows. But the million dollar question is - will there be a few good Li days? Answer is - we don't know. Sometimes lot of things run on sentiment, so if Li macro improves even slightly and is on an uptrend, many may just jump in. AZL itself is going to have its own announcement, which may give an upkick. As I have written many times, I do follow price action first. So at this stage I don't know what I will do later. But stay tuned. I am one of the few who always write when they buy with price, when they sell, with price. All the best.
