I wish I had a crystal ball, I would make a lot of coin from it!

My personal view on what the gold price is going forward is bullish overall. Even if prices dip, it would be unlikely that they would return to US$1,800/oz over the next quarter.

Gold recently skyrocketed on account of the latest uncertainty in Israel. To which, I personally don't see it subsiding any time soon, and there is little indication that there will soon be a catalyst for change, or an end point.

The Ukraine War will continue on for a while yet after the US Congress approved another US$90 billion in aid to Ukraine. There isn't a clear path for either the Ukraine or Russia to make any significant inroads towards a decisive result within the next three months, or even the next year.

While it isn't guaranteed that there will be more instability in the Ukraine and the Middle East over the next quarter, it would be safe to say that those areas will continue to experience comparable instability in the short to medium term.

For those reasons, I remain moderately bullish on gold prices long term.
