Absolutely hit the nail on the head there. The crime does not warrant the sentence imposed wrongly or rightly. The justice system there is not fair by any standards i.e Bali Bombers where only a few got put to death after killings and hurting so many and if the Australian government didn't put so much pressure on them, they would of probably got off lightly and faded away into the distance.
What ever happened to the Indonesian drug kingpins in Indonesia that supplied these guys with the drugs? Nothing has been done to find these guys and put them to death also. Why? because they have probably bribed lower officials against the case and destroyed evidence and bribed witnesses to testify.
I think the reason why the Australian government have been so focal is because they have blood on their hands. The AFP were the ones that informed the Indonesian FP what was happening before they got caught I believe. So basically put a death stamp on these guys.
