Financial markets these days as GFC has indicated are very cross dependent. The movement of capital is VERY mobile through technology. Our equities market for instance is driven not by local funds but international players from what I have read consistently in the free press. I take their word for it in passing and if this is the case then all roads usually leads to US of A.
