For those who are obsessed with shorters (maybe, including myself), from 29M volume yesterday, only 334K shorted. Now, you would think that a 'sell the news' event would be great opportunity to take profits and short. Well, we only got the take profits component yesterday. That was the day to short because of the volume available. Today we have a weak market day and green on MSB. Not the behavior of a weak stock expecting bad news any time soon.
Just another piece of the puzzle in terms of market expectations. I long stopped trusting the longs in the market for MSB but begrudgingly respected the shorts. Now they have flipped on MSB which has been confirmed on numerous shorting opportunities in recent weeks. Maybe everyone is wrong. But isn't the market always right? Until it's wrong.
