thanks Teenar. So i guess wreckers will have to pull them out of the cars before wrecking ? Easy to say they can be recycled but how to you get them removed from the vehicles and sent to the facilities to be recycled ? Better be something in it for the wreckers then hey ? currently cars just get crushed and sent off to be recycled.. no need to pull the whole floor out and remove batteries.. just food for thought as its not just as simple as "yes can batteries be recycled"...
