    No. I think that ISPs go around providing their customers Gigabit direct fibre lines altruistically out of the 'kindness of their hearts'. Not only are they able to provide this service for free but are even able to conjure up Leprechauns to lay down direct fibre connections during the night to any customer that requests it. The ISP doesn't even need to be paid, they just do it altruistically.
