The Rona has certainly been a game changer and I think the Powers that Be, either got a bit of a shock as to how difficult it was to shut down contrary opinions that they considered to be harmful to their preferred narrative. or That they understood and expected the contrary opinions and the Rona gave them an opportunity to run a few tests to see how they could tweak the system and kill off as many possible avenues for the Pleb’s to challenge their narrative.
Personally I think they better hurry up but I doubt that it will matter.
If the Juice was/is okay and the recent spike in all causes mortality rate comes back to normal levels (give or take) then the governments won’t really have any issues. If it stays at current averages or goes up, these free speech laws will be seen in a different light and won’t help those people who where involved (at any level of government or public services roles).
