Mining giant BHP is calling on the Federal government to remove restrictions on nuclear power, claiming this could play a key role in helping the country actually achieve its renewable energy target.
“You’re talking about a country now that’s going to have nuclear-powered submarines yet it is still illegal to have nuclear power in this country –that’s what BHP are saying,” says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
