Sabbath,for me i don't understand why bill wants to drag retirees savings into in many cases politically chosen infrastrucure projects.First surely the cheapest way for bill to raise debt would be to go direct to the foreign lenders rather than guarantee higher returns to encourage super funds to invest in infrastructure projects.
I actually agree with spending debt on infrastructure projects now,but not infrastructure projects chosen by govts,it should be infrastructure projects chosen by infrastructure australia.
And just because some of the projects are approved by IA is not the point,there should be a list of priority projects that govts should be forced to follow for economic reasons not political and that goes for both sides and then financed the cheapest possible way and it seems to me accessing super savings wouldn't be the cheapest possible way unless you planned on screwing the super funds.
s glad i have a smsf but still don't trust either side
