If you read the full article is suggests that the 1.8 billion inflow was not from New investors but rather a transfer of funds from bitcoin exchanges to a more trusted entity like Blackrock. Blockrock made .25% in fees on $1.8 billion that's a profit of $45 milion for doing the paperwork. I would not short bitcoin, there are too many madman out there that could push it up another 100%. I just refuse to invest in something that doesn't exist, and cannot survive without electricity.
