Can you make things out of BTC that other people want? Does BTC conduct Electricity? Can you use BTC as a radiation shield? Can it be used in computer chips?
Can anybody make alternative digital currency ? Is there any barrier to entry that would prevent governments and people using alternative digital currencies instead of BTC? Gold has properties in the physical world and isn't vulnerable to EMP. There arent any common metals with gold like properties and alchemy has never been successful.
Prediction: fast forward 100 years and Gold will still be a store of value BTC maybe not.
