FAR has first dibs on A2 and A5 - which seems "flow on" from SNE
BUT
Re A1 and A4? If FAN South proves the hopes expressed by FAR mgment, that these are "flow on from FAN South" into A1 and A4, then are A1 and A4 a better propsepct?
Is this why.......Cairn Energy, partner of African Petroleum on Senegal Offshore South deep?
"The information is from our colleagues in The Letter Of The Continent. According to them, ousted by Total's deep Offshore Rufisque license, African Petroleum found a partner on Senegal's deep South Offshore. This partner is none other than the British company Cairn Energy, which already operates the Sangomar Deep, Sangomar Offshore and Rufisque offshore blocks near the Africa Petroleum permit, reveals The Continent's Newsletter quoting Africa Energy Intelligence in Dakar.
Our confreres go further by revealing that negotiations with Africa Petroleum, which have been going on since April, are about funding an ambitious work program. Lacking funds and experience, the junior founded by the Romanian businessman Frank Timis has, to date, carried out any work on Senegal's deep Southern Offshore. Talks with Cairn predict that the British oil company will finance two boreholes worth $ 35 million each and potentially two more boreholes at the same cost.
To conclude our colleagues recall that Cairn has the deep offshore experience that is lacking at Africa Petroleum. The group drilled at depths of 1,300 meters off Sri Lanka, but also in Senegal, where it dug nine wells on its Sangomar Deep permit, highlighting considerable reserves of which the exact size will be presented To its shareholders in August.
In conclusion, La Lettre Du Continent points out that, to date, only the negotiations are exclusive: no definitive agreement has yet been signed between Cairn and African Petroleum.

Frank Timis still waders in Senegalese oil: his company African Petroleum will shift 70% of its shares on Senegal deep offshore south to a partner
"Frank Timis was believed to be out of Senegalese oil with the sale of his shares in Kosmos, on the offshore Cayar and Saint Louis licenses. Why not! The Australian-Romanian businessman always has his hand soaked in Senegalese black gold. Holding 90% of the license on the Senegal Offshore South Deep block (10% remaining in Petrosen), his company African Petroleum, without financial capacity and experience to do the work required, but who does not want to lose his license, as The one on Rufisque Offshore, seeks a partner to share 70% of its shares. And it has already found an agreement with Britain's Cairn Energy, with whom it has been negotiating since April and is already operating successfully in the same area.

"However, the managers of the two companies, contacted by the specialized site, did not want to confirm or deny the information on their partnership. "

So, if it is CNE that may partner Timis , then is this telling us what to expect from "imminent" news on FAN South exploratory (/appraisal) drill????
Just reading between lines.......
