Yes, despite the serious nature of Boeings failures it is Americas last remaining large commercial passenger aircraft manufacturer and an important cog in Americas industrial military/space complex. A quick rap over the knuckles for PR purposes and it will be back to business as usual. The sad part of it all is that good engineering doesn't cost much more and it will repay that extra investment in spades later.
